Located at the narrow northern end of Sonoma Valley, this certified organic vineyard lies in the Moon Mountain District. This beautiful vineyard is made up of alluvial soil, igneous volcanic rock, and clay.
Grapes were harvested on October 4th, 2015. Handpicked and sorted, co-fermented, 20% whole cluster Mourvedre, native fermentation, with a seven-day cold soak and a seven-day extended maceration before being aged for 14 months in neutral French oak puncheons. Bottled without fining or filtration.
This vintage is rustic in nature with elegant layers of deep fruit roll that meet you with every sip. Aromas are soulful red and black fruit peppered with light spice. Silky and easy, and with patience, its medium-bodied fruit develops beautifully in your glass. Recommended decanting for 30 minutes.
