The 2025 Perfect Storm is a co-fermented blend of 67% Mourvèdre and 33% Tempranillo from the highly regarded -and my favorite vineyard, Shake Ridge Ranch, thoughtfully farmed by viticulturist Ann Kraemer.

Aged in concrete to preserve purity and freshness, the wine is softly balanced and medium-bodied, offering layered dark fruit, subtle savory spice, and a lifted energy that reflects both site and restraint in the cellar. The concrete aging lends texture and vibrancy, allowing the character of the vineyard to shine through with clarity and finesse.

With only 40 cases produced, Perfect Storm is a limited expression of one of California’s most respected vineyard sites — where rugged Sierra Foothill terrain, decomposed granite soils, and meticulous farming consistently produce wines known for depth, structure, and a clear sense of place.

All shipments of wine must be received and signed for by a person 21 years or older with a valid ID.

We recommend having wine shipments sent to a home or office where someone is present during the day to receive packages. This helps avoid re-delivery and returned shipments.
